Patreon Wants EDITORIAL CONTROL Over Creators’ Projects Now?!

Patreon seemingly wants to be able to have editorial input over creator projects, if a recent game developer’s post is to be believed. The creator of an anime style adult game called Monster Girl Island rage quits Patreon after they decided to meddle in plot and character details to make it acceptable for the platform. This is after Patreon started pulling down anime style artwork, and after Patreon banned political commentators without warning for infractions on platforms other than Patreon. Meanwhile, Patreon is supposedlyvalued at $4 billion… AFTER laying off staff and saying its business model is “unsustainable.” So what gives?
