John Boyega reportedly had to fight for screentime for Finn in The Rise of Skywalker. Even though Finn was the co-lead of The Force Awakens, he was clearly sidelined in The Last Jedi in favor of new characters. Shockingly, The MarySue actually AGREES that Finn was wasted in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Imagine that.
This isn’t the first time Boyega has seemingly expressed displeasure with the Star Wars sequels and we have to wonder if he won’t tell all after The Rise of Skywalker is out of theaters…
