‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero,’ ‘One Piece’ Get Delayed After Toei Animation Hack

0

Toei Animation has announced the delay of anime broadcasts and the upcoming ‘Dragon Ball Super’ film following an attempt to hack their internal systems. The delay has caused some problems for the animation studio which assures fans that after a brief intermission with some re-runs, new episodes will be released.
The schedules for ‘Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai,’ ‘Delicious Party Precure,’ ‘Digimon Ghost Game’ and ‘One Piece’ were all affected by the hack, Anime News Network reported. The creators of ‘One Piece’ confirmed the delay on social media with a post on social media.
“[Notice of change in broadcast content] On 3/19 (Sat), we will change the broadcast content and broadcast the 5th episode “The Insignia of Aban”. The best selection will be broadcast on 3/26 (Sat) and 4/2 (Sat). After 4/9 (Sat), we will inform you as soon as it is decided. I’m sorry to have kept you waiting. Thank you,” they said in a tweet.

It was not just their television schedule affected. The upcoming release of their film ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ was also pushed from its planned Japanese premier of April 22 to an unknown date. Anime News Network noted that there is no new date scheduled. Toei Animation apologized to the fans for the delay.
As Siliconera reported, Toei Animation explained the March 6th hack in a press release. Roughly translated, it says,
“We confirmed that our network was compromised by a third party on March 6, this year, and decided to shut down our internal system.
We are currently investigating the details, but we are also conducting an investigation by an external specialized institution to confirm whether information about customers and business partners and personal information are included.
In addition to reporting to related organizations, we have already taken measures such as stopping part of the internal system and restricting access from the outside.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused to everyone involved.”
‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ will be the first film in the franchise that is animated in CGI.

Following their highly-acclaimed 2019 adaption of ‘Green Eggs and Ham,’ Netflix announced in a press release that has made a deal with Dr. Seuss Enterprises for five new specials and television shows to the streaming service. Dustin Ferrer will serve as showrunner and executive producer across the board.

This will be the third version of ‘Horton Hears A Who’ which includes a 1970 television special that aired on CBS and a 2008 film made by the now-defunct Blue Sky Studios.

The only way to lift their ancestry’s curse is for Yuuko to find a magical girl, murder her, and splatter her blood all over her ancestor’s Demon God statue.
Fortunately for “Shadow Mistress Yuuko,” a magical girl saves her from being run over by an oncoming truck. Unfortunately, Momo Chiyoda happens to be Yuuko’s classmate at Sakuragaoka High and is much stronger than her in both strength and endurance. Taking pity on her wimpy assailant, the magical girl agrees to train Yuuko and help her unlock her dormant powers. Now, Yuuko must rise up and defeat her generous frenemy to save her family from the terrible grip of poverty.”

It’s About Justice In The IMDb TV Trailer For ‘Bosch: Legacy’

0

The tough-as-nails Los Angeles Detective Harry Bosch, played by Titus Welliver, is returning for a spin-off series ‘Bosch: Legacy’ which sees the character trade his badge for a private investigator license. The show is produced Fable Entertainment and while its predecessor streamed to Amazon’s Prime Video, this one is streaming to IMDb TV.
The show stars returning cast members Welliver, Mimi Rogers as defense attorney Honey “Money” Chandler, and Madison Lintz as Bosch’s daughter Maddie who will take up the mantle, becoming a police officer.
IMDb TV dropped a trailer for the series:

Amazon Studios describes the plot as follows,
“Loosely based on the hybrid novel The Wrong Side of Goodbye from acclaimed author Michael Connelly, and a spinoff of the longest-running Prime Video Original, Bosch, the first season of Bosch: Legacy follows former LAPD detective Harry Bosch as he begins a new chapter as a private investigator. His first job calls him to the estate of ailing billionaire Whitney Vance, where Bosch is tasked with finding Vance’s only potential heir. Along the way, Bosch finds himself clashing with powerful figures who have a vested interest in the heir not being found. Researching the family tree, he uncovers shocking revelations that span generations, all while billions of dollars remain on the line. Without the badge and a preference for old-school tactics, Bosch finds an invaluable resource in Maurice “Mo” Bassi (Stephen A. Chang, Captain Marvel), a tech-forward gadget whiz who also shares Bosch’s fondness for smooth jazz and commitment to justice.
Following in her father’s footsteps, Maddie, a rookie patrol officer with the LAPD, is paired with Reina Vasquez (Denise G. Sanchez, The Good Place), a no-nonsense, hard-charging training officer. As Maddie patrols the streets of Los Angeles, she grapples with what kind of cop she wants to be. Her father—who continues to live by the code that everybody counts, or nobody counts—believes the issue is clear: Being a cop is either a mission or just a job.”
The show will stream on IMDb TV on May 6th.
