McDonald’s Halloween Happy Meal Buckets May Be Returning!

Recently there have been rumors swirling on social media about the possible return of the McDonald’s Halloween Happy Meal buckets. Given the extremely positive to response to the rumor, I hope it’s true.

Just a bit ago an image was released that is reported to be the actual buckets that are coming. Again, nothing is confirmed and they do say that it is US only and not Canada.

Can you feel that?! Spooky season is indeed in the air🥹

October 18th McDonald’s Halloween Pails will return.

-There are 3 designs 9 pails
-Only 1 will be in-store at a time
-The pail serves as both the toy and Happy Meal Box.

Once again I have to disclose..McDonald’s has not confirmed or denied this😅

This is going to be the wildest goose chase ever🤪

The rumor began when Nightmare Nostalgia said that they heard the beloved holiday Happy Meal buckets would return from October 18 – Halloween, October 31 after receiving word from alleged McDonalds employees that the iconic Halloween staple would return for the first time since 2016!

McDonald’s employees have chimed in revealing that there are INDEED plans that the fast-food giant is resurrecting the nostalgic Halloween Happy Meal starting on October 18th, 2022 and ending on the holiday itself October 31, 2022.”

The author also said that they were sent this image that shows the release on the McDonalds internal calendar:

These spooky Halloween buckets were originally released in 1986 as the three pumpkin styles: McBoo, McPunk’n and McGoblin. Later these would change to the Pumpkin, McBoo (Ghost) and McWitch (Witch.)

Actually Nightmare Nostalgia has a whole history on the buckets and loves them dearly (I respect that!)

So far this has not been officially confirmed by McDonalds. Hopefully it’s true!  Because social media is going nuts over the mere suggestion that it is coming back.

Rurouni Kenshin has also been adapted into 5 live action movies series, with the last two coming out in 2021.

The summary of Rurouni Kenshin:

Ten years have passed since the end of Bakumatsu, an era of war that saw the uprising of citizens against the Tokugawa shogunate. The revolutionaries wanted to create a time of peace, and a thriving country free from oppression. The new age of Meiji has come, but peace has not yet been achieved. Swords are banned but people are still murdered in the streets. Orphans of war veterans are left with nowhere to go, while the government seems content to just line their pockets with money.

One wandering samurai, Kenshin Himura, still works to make sure the values he fought for are worth the lives spent to bring about the new era. Once known as Hitokiri Battousai, he was feared as the most ruthless killer of all the revolutionaries. Now haunted by guilt, Kenshin has sworn never to kill again in atonement for the lives he took, and he may never know peace until killing is a thing of the past.

Now in the 11th year of Meiji, Kenshin stumbles upon Kaoru Kamiya, owner and head instructor of a small dojo being threatened to close its doors. The police force is powerless to stop the string of murders done in the name of her dojo by a man claiming to be the famous Battousai. Kenshin’s wanderings pause for now as he joins Kaoru to clear both their names. But how long can he stay before his past catches up to him?

ALIEN’s Dropship and APC Models Coming From HCG

0

Get ready for a combat drop! Hollywood Collectibles Group is set to release a 24″ replica of the USCM’s UD-4 Utility Dropship, which comes with a surprise! HCG‘s Dropship replica also includes a to-scale APC! Not only that, but the UD-4 Dropship (named Cheyenne) includes an opening loading bay to maximize the display possibilities of the $1,499.95 purchase! Unfortunately, this release is limited to only 250 pieces.

The APC may be the most underutilized vehicle in all of the ALIENS. In the early script, both guns were to be used at various points during the rescue at the atmospheric processor. In the final film, we see the top turret lower so the APC can enter a low clearance zone. Not once do we get to see any of the armored personnel carrier’s weaponry blow a xenomorph to bits.

Flown by Corporal Ferro and Private First Class Spunkmeyer, the drop ship is as iconic as everything else in James Cameron’s ALIENS. Although the vehicle gets a few minutes of screen time, it is instantly recognizable. It’s not slick or overly designed. Like many of the props and vehicles in the film, the prop looks functional and could easily be mistaken for something we’d see our military using in the real world.

Cheyenne met an unfortunate end when a xenomorph snuck aboard the Dropship and dispatched Ferro and Spunkmeyer, leading to a crash that would set off a chain reaction inside the atmospheric processor.

‘GTA 6’ Hacker May Have Been Caught In Oxfordshire

0

It’s no secret by now that Rockstar Games has been the victim of a major incident where several internal videos and possibly source code of its games have been leaked. The most notable info was a series of videos showing off Rockstar’s upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6. Various gameplay elements, physics tests, and some spoilers were among the 90+ clips that have been circulating online since last week. It now appears a person connected to the cyber attack has been apprehended.

BBC reports that an alleged member of the hacker group Lapsus$ has been detained. A 17-year-old was taken into custody in Oxfordshire on Thursday, but at this time, very little info was known aside from the fact that the City of London police arrested a minor and the National Cyber Crime Unit aided them. The speculation about the teen’s involvement with the GTA6 leaks stems from journalist Matthew Keys on Twitter.

According to an Engadget article, the London police have been targeting Lapsus$ members, arresting seven teens allegedly associated with the group in March 2022. The extent of the damage done by this group is not yet known. It has been rumored that a group member was trying to offload the GTA 6 or GTA 5 source code. There’s a possibility that the gang may have internal documents or code relating to other Rockstar properties, including Red Dead Redemption.

If the source code leaks are true, this could be disastrous for the online aspects of current Rockstar titles and may delay the development of future games, including Grand Theft Auto VI. However, as LegacyKillaHD noted in his video, Rockstar Games has already started to update the security of existing franchises, possibly as a precaution that the code is floating out there.

What do you think about the leaks? Let us know below!

‘House Of 1000 Corpses’ Retro Action Figures Are Coming In 2023

0

Are you a fan of Rob Zombie’s House Of 1000 Corpses? Is that a question you’d think anyone would ask in 2022? Trick or Treat Studios believes there’s an audience for the film because the company is releasing a line of action figures based on the black comedy horror film. From Captain Spalding to Dr. Satan, most of the main cast is present in this initial wave. Even Rainn Wilson’s character is included as an accessory.

The line is currently available for pre-order directly from Trick or Treat Studios, with an expected February release date. Each figure is priced at $19.99, and the Collector’s Box is $29.99. The action figures are retro in every sense of the word. From the simple Super7-like paint jobs to the limited articulation, these figures won’t be too out of place among classic Kenner toys. The most alluring aspect of this wave of figures is the build-a-figure gimmick.

By collecting this set, you’ll be able to build the Tiny Firefly figure. It’s nice to see the late Matthew McGrory finally immortalized in toy form. But, sadly, The only way to complete the Tiny Firefly build-a-figure is to buy the action figure case. That’s right, even if you buy all five figures, you’ll need to pick up a $30 plastic box to get the figure’s torso and head. Ugh.

A Turbo Kid Video Game Is Coming To Steam!

0

After a very successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, a video game followup of the sci-fi splatter film Turbo Kid is coming to Steam. The game picks up right after the film’s events. It looks like a pixel-art Metroid-style game combining platforming, exploration, and BMX bike tricks. The combat incorporated the Turbo Blaster, a melee weapon, and even bikes that can be used to dispatch enemies. Apple makes a very brief appearance in the trailer near the end. The release date is still TBD, but according to the Kickstarter page, the expected launch is October 2022.

Turbo Kid was a Canadian science fiction film that premiered in 2015. Set in a post-apocalyptic 1997, the story followed ‘The Kid,’ who happens upon a powerful weapon once belonging to the heroic Turbo Rider. With new armor and wrist blaster, Turbo Kid sets out to save his robot friend Apple from the clutches of Zeus (played to by the marvelous Michael Ironside). The film was written and directed by François Simard, Anouk Whissell, and Yoann-Karl Whissell.

Our story begins immediately after the events of the movie. As the Kid, you must cross the Wasteland. On your way, you will meet an array of colorful characters, some friends, some foes, and some in-between, who will offer advice, quests, fights, and jokes (lots of jokes).

Yes, you have lost someone dear to you in a tragic incident, but you must persevere! If you are to honor your friend’s memory, you will need to become a hero, even if it sometimes feels like you bit off more than you could chew. This means relying on the lessons of the past, your valiant heart, your machete, and your Turbo Blaster to face your fears

It’s clear a lot of care went into this game, and there’s obviously an audience for it, considering the campaign brought in over $150k. So what do you think of the Turbo Kid game? Let us know below.
