Are you a fan of Rob Zombie’s House Of 1000 Corpses? Is that a question you’d think anyone would ask in 2022? Trick or Treat Studios believes there’s an audience for the film because the company is releasing a line of action figures based on the black comedy horror film. From Captain Spalding to Dr. Satan, most of the main cast is present in this initial wave. Even Rainn Wilson’s character is included as an accessory.
The line is currently available for pre-order directly from Trick or Treat Studios, with an expected February release date. Each figure is priced at $19.99, and the Collector’s Box is $29.99. The action figures are retro in every sense of the word. From the simple Super7-like paint jobs to the limited articulation, these figures won’t be too out of place among classic Kenner toys. The most alluring aspect of this wave of figures is the build-a-figure gimmick.
By collecting this set, you’ll be able to build the Tiny Firefly figure. It’s nice to see the late Matthew McGrory finally immortalized in toy form. But, sadly, The only way to complete the Tiny Firefly build-a-figure is to buy the action figure case. That’s right, even if you buy all five figures, you’ll need to pick up a $30 plastic box to get the figure’s torso and head. Ugh.
Trick or Treat Studios is thrilled to release the all new House of 1000 Corpses – Action Figure Collectors Case! Room for the full line of House of 1000 Corpses Action Figures including the exclusive Tiny Build-a-Figure.
