New Duncan and Ram Man Statues Arrive From Eternia Next Year!

If you were looking for more statues to add to the upcoming He-Man diorama from Iron Studios, the company just announced two new characters: Man At Arms and Ram Man! However, if you’re a Masters of the Universe purist, you’ll be glad to know that these statues are based on the classic versions of the characters and not newer interpretations.

Yes, this Man At Arms is also based on the Filmation cartoon. He has that memorizing mustache. This may be one of the best looking statues of the character since the 200X days. Duncan’s uniform is a mix of classic fantasy elements mixed with science fiction. Who knew that an advanced civilization like that on Eternia would still feel the need to use loincloths?

He-Man’s mentor and friend is currently available for pre-order. This requires a $32 down payment, with the remaining original $159.99 balance due when the Art Scale statue ships. The expected arrival date is sometime during the second quarter of 2023.

Inventor, soldier, and father of Teela, Duncan, known for his title of Man-At-Arms is the official guard of Eternia’s royal family, combat instructor, and mentor adviser of Prince Adam. More than Adam’s friend, Duncan is a fatherly figure that acts as a second father for Eternia’s greatest hero, helping He-Man to lead his heroic warriors against the sorcerer Skeletor and his followers. In the animated series from 2002, he fought side-by-side with his brother Fisto and the at-the-time Captain Randor against the warlord Keldor (Skeletor) and his warriors, to defend Eternia, Castle Grayskull, and the Council of Elders. Trained by the renowned strategist Dekker, Duncan was invited by King Randor to strengthen his guard with an elite attack and defense force. One of the few characters that know that Adam is He-Man, Man-At-Arms is an inventor and scientist, responsible for the creation of the most efficient weapons, armor, and vehicles used by the royal guard.

Ram Man was always one of my favorite secondary characters outside the main cast. His toy had a great action feature, and his outfit always made him look somewhat like Marvel’s Juggernaut. Like Duncan, Ram Man is based on the Filmation version and Mattel toy. He, too, is priced at $159.99 and requires a $32 deposit. He’ll be out during the second quarter of next year as well. Ram Man is approximately 6.7″ tall.

Small in size, but with a big heart, and a friendly and kind personality, despite his brute appearance, Ram-Man, also known by his nickname Krass, is one of the most loyal allies of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. A fierce fighter when needed, his special skill is to propel himself forward, having extreme thrust force on his legs, knocking down opponents or obstacles with his super hard helmet like a real human battering ram. Although many times slow, innocent, and the protagonist of comic moments, Ram-Man plays a very important role in the fight against the evil forces of the sorcerer Skeletor and his minions. Fearless, as presented in the animated series from 2002, when he was just a boy, he got lost in the caves on Fertile Plains, staying for a long time in complete darkness, which caused him a traumatic fear of the dark as an adult, but while facing the Shadow Creatures in a fight under the cloak of darkness, Ram-Man acted bravely next to Eternia’s defenders even in the face of his greatest fear.
