Meet The Playable Killer Klowns In This Character Teaser

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is the only title I’m genuinely looking forward to this year. I’m a sucker when it comes to horror movie-based games. So the fact that I can finally cause chaos with a cotton candy gun just makes me giddy. But which Klowns can we choose from?

Thanks to a newly released video from Good Shepherd Entertainment, we know how many alien invaders are playable and what role they serve in the player-vs-player title. Most of the core Killer Klowns from the cult classic movie are present, and each evil extraterrestrial has a specific class. Here’s the breakdown:

Rudy – Trapster (with cotton candy gun)

Spikey – Tracer (with a popcorn gun)

Jumbo – Scout (with a mallet)

Shorty – Fighter (of course!)

Fatso – Tank (with an unidentifiable weapon stuck to his right hand)

Slim, for whatever reason, is not one of the five types of playable Klowns. Bibbo, Jojo, and the female Klowns are also not missing from the roster. They may be unique characters, like the Evil Ash or Henrietta in Evil Dead: The Game.

An exact release date has not yet been determined, but Teravision Games and Good Shepherd Entertainment are aiming for this year. Hopefully, in the near future, we’ll have an interview with the game’s score composer John Massari.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game can now be added to your Steam wishlist. The cross-platform multiplayer game pits humans VS clowns in a manner similar to what we saw with the Friday the 13th and Evil Dead games.

Plan your own alien invasion and harvest humans as the iconic Killer Klowns, or gather a team of survivors to fight the extraterrestrial threat, in a game based on the ’80s cult classic movie. Welcome to a new, craazzy take on the asymmetrical multiplayer horror experience!
