X-Men: The Animated Series Magneto Figure Is Here From Mondo!

Earlier this year, we saw that Mondo was giving us all a chance to pick up the 1/6th scale X-MEN: The Animated Series Wolverine figure. He was in high demand. At the time, I’d wondered who would be next to get the 12″ treatment [heh]. It turns out it’s the Master of Magnetism’s turn! Yeah! Magneto is here in all his cel-shaded glory! He manages to outdoor the Wolverine figure in the number of accessories and functionality! Much like the original Toy Biz Magnet, this figure, too, comes with magnetic hands! Now you can ruin your parents’ TV just like I did!

Like Wolverine, Magneto also comes with a hefty price tag. He is sitting at $225, but you’d better act fast because the pre-order window for Max Eisenhardt is only open until September 15th at 12 PM.

The Master of magnetism, and one of the X-Men’s main antagonists is finally here. Based on the beloved X-Men: The Animated Series show from the ‘90s, this Magneto 1/6 scale figure is the follow-up to last year’s Wolverine and is the next addition to our growing line.

Magneto comes with the following parts and accessories:

  • Standard portrait
  • Angry portrait
  • 20XX portrait
  • Eric Lensherr portrait
  • Evil Morph portrait
  • Two magnetized energy rings
  • Magnetized metal shards
  • Bendable metal fragment
  • Two open palm magnetized hands
  • Two magnetized fists
  • 4 pairs of interchangeable hands
  • Figure Stand

If you’re still looking to pick up the 1/6 scale Wolverine, he’s available from Mondo for $200.

Which character should be next? I’d personally love for it to be Rogue, Gambit, or Storm. Gambit may be a bit tricky because of the coat. Having the coat made from soft goods would take away from the animated look, but an all-PVC outfit could limit his articulation. What do you think? Let us know below.
