The Japanese Anime Industry’s Revenue is in DECLINE?!

The Japanese anime industry’s revenue declined in 2020 for the first time in a decade. As hard as it is to be believe with the increased popularity of anime and blockbusters like Demon Slayer, the overall revenue per studio was DOWN in 2020. And now China is predicted to eclipse Japan in anime production soon. Huh?! And how much does it cost to produce one episode of an anime, anyway?
