A trio of new PCS collectibles was teased this week over at Sideshow Collectibles. The characters shown ranged from live-action films to comic books to a legendary Capcom fighting game. So get ready to take a loan for what will probably be one expensive shopping trip.
Chun-Li, the Chinese Interpol officer and all-around badass, can soon be yours, at least from the chest up. PCS and Sideshow Collectibles have released a teaser image of an upcoming 1:1 scale bust of the Street Fighter hero. Details are in short supply, but what we can tell is that she’ll come with a softgoods outfit and hair (probably synthetic). She’s decked out in her signature blue qipao and large spiked wrist bands. It’s not clear if this is a prototype or the final design. I think her eyebrows need a little work, and the hairline looks a little messy.

Patrick Bateman, one of the many Vice Presidents of mergers and acquisitions at Pierce & Pierce, has been captured here in 1:4 scale by PCS. This statue is based on Christian Bale’s portrayal of the mentally unhinged yuppie from New York. He is depicted here in his raincoat and carrying an ax. Paul Allen shouldn’t have been such a jerk, right? If only Bateman could have gotten a reservation at Dorsia.
Sideshow
Sideshow and PCS presents the American Psycho 1:4 Scale Statue. This piece will be available for pre-order in the near future so stay tuned! RSVP for more updates in the meantime.
A 1:3 scale Raphael statue rounds out the three announcements. Raph is looking extra buff and roughed up here. A deluxe edition of the statue comes with an alternate head.

We’re on a highway to Hell, and along the way, we’ll be picking up these fantastic figures of AC/DC’s late singer Bon Scott and legendary schoolboy guitarist Angus Young. The long-touring rock group from Australia is the latest band to NECA’s line of 8″ tall action figures. Yes, you can, very shortly, create a diorama with Quint from Jaws with Angus Young, Pinhead, and Elvis.
NECANECANECANECA
If rock singers were judged on a scale of 1 to 10, Bon Scott turns the dial to 11. One of the most influential front men of all time, Bon Scott’s high-voltage vocals and rock ‘n roll lifestyle set the bar for a generation of aspiring musicians. This fully articulated and extremely tattooed action figure is based on Bon Scott’s appearance in AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” music video and stands 8 inches tall. Comes with microphone and alternate head. Window box packaging.
The lead guitarist, who’s always dressed like a schoolboy, is also joining Bon Scott. Angus Young, one of the greatest showmen guitarists ever, will be present in his signature uniform and a few interchangeable accessories.
NECANECANECANECA
It’s hard to find a rock fan alive who hasn’t heard of Angus Young. This king of hard rock is the core of Aussie band AC/DC. His electrifying guitar work and unforgettable songs have driven them to superstardom around the world. This fully articulated action figure is based on Angus’ appearance in the “Highway to Hell” music video and stands 8 inches tall. Comes with guitar and strap, hats, plus interchangeable heads and hands. Window box packaging.
I know NECA’s trying to recreate the Highway To Hell look with Angus, but that doesn’t look much like him. He seems a bit too much like a cherub. Bon, on the other hand, is spot on. If you’ve ever seen footage of Scott or any of the early AC/DC music videos, he has a unique look when he stares into the camera. NECA’s artists captured that perfectly here.
Bon Scott passed away in 1980 after partying too hard. In his place, Brian Johnson stepped and remained the lead vocalist for decades. Over the past 47 years, the band has released 15 albums, with Back in Black selling 50 million copies. The band still tours to this day, although it’s not clear how much longer Brian Johnson will be the frontman. He had taken a break not too long ago because of his health. Angus Young, though, still manages to keep up the high-energy antics on stage even though he is now 67 years old.
The green-skinned witch of the classic N64 collect-a-thon Banjo-Kazooie games is ready to take all your money. Gruntilda is the newest Rare collectible to be produced by First 4 Figures. Previously, we had covered their awesome Conker’s Bad Fur Day statue. Much like that statue, Gruntilda’s comes in two flavors: lit and not lit. While there is a standard version of the Gruntilda statue, it lacks the cool LED lighting effects of the Exclusive Edition. However, the price difference isn’t that big: $499.99 and $519.99.
Gruntilda’s statue measures 17.3″ wide and 15.7″ tall. Expect her to fly into homes around the third quarter of this year. Gruntilda marks the fourth statue inspired by the classic Rare video game. Previous characters included Banjo Kazooie, Mumbo Jumbo, and Crocodile Banjo.

First 4 Figures is proud to present their latest resin collectible, Gruntilda! This is the fourth statue to join our Banjo-Kazooie lineup! The wicked witch who can do no good has been beautifully replicated here. Gruntilda is brought to life along with her broomstick, sculpted to look as if she’s flying and her black ensemble acts as a clear canvas that makes all the bright colours in the statue pop! The vibrancy beckons nicely to the video game’s unique aesthetics. The base has brick details which go hand in hand with the torch and bug details, capturing the iconic, Gruntilda’s Lair in the video game.
Gruntilda comes with the following:
Two (2) LED functions for torch and green bubble details
Limited edition numbering
Authentication card
Orders must be placed before August 16th to get the $50 discount. Otherwise, the two versions will shoot back up to their original MSRP of $569.99 and $545.99. So, which one will you be picking up? Or, if you’re holding out for a different Rare character, which would it take to earn your cash? Let us know below.
UPDATE: I spoke with Mark Racop of Fiberglass Freaks on the phone regarding the case and raid this week. On August 19th Mark will appear in a San Mateo County courtroom to plead “not guilty” to the allegation of fraud. Sam Anagnostou claims Racop and his company defrauded him, but the defendant could not speak about further details in the criminal case.
Mr. Racop mentioned that the people sent from the San Mateo Sheriff’s office did “rough” him up, and the local police on the scene did nothing and allowed this weirdness to play out unquestioned. Racop was asked to stay silent, which is about the only favor the local police did in his favor. How a civil dispute turned into an expensive criminal investigation is still unclear, and we won’t know the reason why the San Mateo DA reversed course on their decision not to file charges against Mark Racop.
Racop stated that the time to build Batmobiles has only increased due to the pandemic and supply chain issues. Where a typical base model would take about two years, it is now taking three. In addition, the strain the criminal case is putting on Racop and his finances may cause further delays. This means that even if Sam Anagnostou is successful with whatever he tries to prove in court, he may not see his customized Batmobile for many years.
Setting aside the impartiality I should have as a journalist; I will say that I found Mark to be a very earnest and kind gentleman. He loves Batman, and the ’66 Batmobile he turned into a thriving business that DC Comics recognized. As someone who has also dealt in the prop and replica market, I know that some customers can be very pushy, especially when they’re wealthy. Unfortunately, that wealth sometimes comes with entitlement that blinds the person to the reality of the situation and over-inflates their expectations. I believe this is the case with Sam Anagnostou.
Court cases, civil or criminal, are not inexpensive. They drain bank accounts and the soul. Mark Racop is very thankful for all the positivity shown towards him and Fiberglass Freaks after the airing of the ABC7 investigation. While positive comments go a long way in righting some of the alleged wrongs, there’s still the issue of the financial burden the case puts on him. So, Racop has started a GoFundMe called Justice For Batman. The donations will go towards Racop’s costs to battle this case in a court several states away from his home.
The original story follows below:
Only one automotive shop in the US can make officially licensed ’66 Batmobiles. That place is Fiberglass Freaksof Logansport, Indiana. The specialty car manufacturer is run by Mark Racop, a massive fan of Batman, specifically Adam West’s version from the mid-1960s. Since 2010, Racop has been producing faithful recreations of George Barris’s iconic customized Lincoln Futura, with seemingly no issues until now.
ABC7 recently published an investigation that looked into why Fiberglass Freaks was raided by a Sheriff from several states away. It all started when Mark Racop’s company took an order from real estate broker Sam Anagnostou. According to the information gathered by ABC7, Anagnostou made a downpayment on his Batmobile but failed to make another scheduled payment to Fiberglass Freaks.
Mark Racop claims that the real estate agent vanished for several months, which left him with no choice but to push the production of Anagnostou’s order to the end of the production line. The delay meant Sam would not see his Batmobile for over a year, possibly two. Eventually, Anagnostou did pay his bill, but this damage was done, and Racop says his customer was quite angry, “He didn’t like that, he exploded. He did pay off the entire car at that point, but he was absolutely livid to find out that his car was going to be delayed.”
This is where things get very fishy. Anagnostou tried to get the law involved in a business matter. The San Mateo County District Attorney issued a letter to Racop saying that no charges were coming his way at that time. Sam also filed a lawsuit in San Mateo, but it was tossed out because this issue would need to be settled in Indiana rather than California.
Possibly out of options to get his luxury item as fast as possible, Anagnostou may have called in a favor with his Facebook friend and San Mateo County Sheriff, Carlos Bolanos. What happened next sounds like a significant misuse of taxpayer money and police misconduct. Bolanos sent four people from his department to Logansport, Indiana, where they seized evidence from Fiberglass Freaks on July 19th.
The search warrant would only let the SMCS take items strictly pertaining to Anagnostou’s order. These included just some documents and not the unfinished Batmobile, but the search warrant extended to Racop’s Gmail and led to his bank account being frozen. Racop was taken to the local jail for a short time and released.
The San Mateo County Deputy District Attorney, Marie McLaughlin, refused to speak about what led to the search warrant being issued after Anagnostou failed to get a criminal and civil case off the ground. Nor did she elaborate on the possibility that Anagnostou’s connection with the Sherrif was a possible ethics issue.
Currently, ABC7 has been unable to interview Sheriff Bolanos or Sam Anagnostou.
Now, does this sound like a reasonable thing for an out-of-state Sheriff’s office to do? This trip included flights, hotels, rental cars, and probably per diem allowances for all involved. All this because a wealthy guy missed a payment and wasn’t getting his $210k Batmobile as fast as possible.
I only remember one thing from the Fantastic Beasts movies: the little gold-hoarding niffler named Teddy. He was a cute platypus-looking creature who could hide untold amounts of gold and treasure under his fur. But, of course, if it’s shiny and valuable, Teddy will attempt to make it his own.
Being one of the few iconic things from the newer Wizarding World movies, there will be collectibles made of this specific niffler. Beast Kingdom recently announced that pre-orders were open for a sizeable 21.5cm-tall statue of Teddy. He sits atop his collection of gold coins and is sporting a stylish pearl necklace. The Master Craft series of statues are premium items and command a premium price. Expect to pay $249.99 for this piece of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them merchandise.

The Master Craft collection from Beast Kingdom is the epitome of high-end, hand-crafted masterpieces for collectors of only the finest!
The MC-054 Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Master Craft Teddy brings to life the cute creature himself in meticulously high detailing. Holding his favorite gold bar in one hand and lying on a base made of gold coins, Teddy has never looked more relaxed.
Hand painted with professional grade paint, the Master Craft release is as realistic looking as they come. A perfect release for fans of the cunning little Teddy!
This year’s San Diego Comic Con brought a bunch of announcements regarding Marvel’s next phase of the MCU. As a result, Hasbro Pulse has been flooded with new listings for upcoming figures. We’ve grouped them all in one article. Check out all the new toys below!
The Wakanda Forever wave of Marvel Legends figures pays tribute to new characters as well as the classic comic. With this wave, you’ll get Hatut Zeraze, Classic Black Panther, MCU’s Everett Ross, MCU’s Nakia, and the first appearance of the legendary Namor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Build-A-Figure for this set is a long-standing enemy of Namor: Attuma.

The MCU figures don’t end there. Another version of Loki is on the way; this one comes packaged with an electronic replica of the Tesseract. The Space Stone lights up, and that’s really about it. Bit of a dud, to be honest, especially since this set costs $66.99.

Hasbro is still continuing the line of Toy Biz-inspired action figures. The following two include Beast from X-MEN and Scorpion, based on his appearance in the Spider-Man: The Animated Series. Beast will run you $33.99 while Scorpion is $24.99. Hank McCoy will arrive on March 1st. The villainous Mac Gargan will ship a month earlier than the prominent blue doctor.

The two beings who held the title of “Herald of Galactus” before the Silver Surfer were Terrax and Fallen One. This two-pack is $62.99 and will ship around January 1st, 2023.

Another long-gone animated series is getting the Marvel Legends treatment. This time it’s the early 1980s cartoon Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends. This short-lived series features Spidey teaming up with Iceman and Firestar. The triple-pack is $74.99 and will arrive at the beginning of January next year.

Phew. We’re finally getting close to covering all the cool stuff revealed during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. I’ve been trying to bundle announcements together so you can get all your news in as few articles as possible. Super7 didn’t help because the company announced several new figures and variants during the event. Let’s check them out.
First up is a new addition to the Ultimates ThunderCats line. Yes, it’s another Lion-O repaint, but with a twist. The figure is based on the episode where Lion-O duels with the King on Hook Mountain and is overcome by the cold. When the figure is put in UV light, his skin returns to its usual tone. G.I. Joe fans will know which character also has this feature but in reverse.
Icy Lion-O is available to order right now; no pre-ordering is necessary.
Super7Super7
Lion-O is normally one cool cat, but his encounter with the Ice King on Hook Mountain results in him becoming frozen solid! Inspired by the “Secrets of the Ice King” episode, this 7” scale highly articulated ThunderCats ULTIMATES! figure of Lion-O features a frozen blue colorway and includes interchangeable heads & hands and frost-encrusted accessories. Made with photochromic plastic, Lion-O transforms from frozen blue to his more healthy orange skin tone when introduced to UV light!
More Ultimates are also on the way for the G.I. Joe line. A comic book-colored variant of the Cobra B.A.T. is in stock and ready to ship out, too!

More Godzilla figures? Yes, please! The original Gojira is here in the ReAction line, but with a glow-in-the-dark variant! He may have been in black-and-white in 1954, but he is glowing bright green!
Super7Super7Super7
The original King of the Monsters, now in glow-in-the-dark! Standing 4” tall and packaged on a special die-cut cardback, you won’t need Godzilla’s fiery path of destruction to light up your Kaiju collection- you can brighten it by adding the glow-in-the-dark Godzilla ‘54 ReAction Figure!
The final item is a six-figure pack of G.I. Joe ReAction figures. The Pyramid of Darkness Pack comes with Snake Eyes in disguise (with Timber), Shipwreck disguised as a Snakeling, (3) Snakeling workers, and one Cobra Security Robot that is 4.5″ tall. This will run you $125.
Super7
Some of these Cobra Snakelings are definitely not what they appear to be! Inspired by the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Season 1 episode “The Pyramid of Darkness” where Snake Eyes and Shipwreck infiltrate a Cobra base, this special set of G.I. Joe ReAction Figures comes packaged in a window box recreating the entrance to the Cobra control cube factory seen on the show.

The Marvel character powered by the magic of memes is being turned into a Hot Toys figure. Sideshow Collectibles is currently taking pre-orders for the live-action version of Dr. Michael Morbius’s vampiric alter ego. The premium 1/6th scale toy is priced at $260 and will ship during the second half of 2023.
If no one buys the Morbius figure, do you think Sideshow/Hot Toys would re-release it if there were enough pro-Morbius memes on Twitter? Jared Leto is probably pre-ordering all of the figures as we speak. I bet he will give them away as Christmas presents.
Dr. Michael Morbius is a biochemist who suffers from a rare genetic disorder and is almost hopeless in treating itt. New Wave Toys continues its trend of making highly accurate scaled-down versions of iconic machines from the ’70s and ’80s. Previously, the company had USB power banks that looked like classic arcade change machines and the Replicade mini-arcade cabinets. Another staple of the local arcade was usually a coin-operated soda machine. So, of course, New Wave is delivering one of those. It’s not some mock brand that kind of looks like a famous company, no-no. Instead, they got the license to use the Coca-Cola branding!
Coming soon, we’re going to have two mini-Coke machine replicas. One with the classic artworkand one advertising “New” Coke. Both versions will be functional on multiple levels. Yes, they’ll vend mini cans of cola and act as a mini-fridge for one can or bottle of soda. The mini vending machines should ship during Q4 of this year. Each Coke machine is $159.99.
New Wave news wouldn’t be complete without announcing a new Replicade machine. Another Atari classic is on the way, and it’s Charley Chuck’s Food Fight! Like the other New Wave replicas, the Food Fight cabinet tries to capture all the details down to the gum typically stuck under the control deck. You can also swap out the standard joystick ball for a banana!
It would appear that another RoboCop figure is on the way from Hot Toys. We spotted this new version of the cybernetic law enforcement officer over at Figures.com. The good thing about Murphy is that the base figure can act as any of the three cinematic versions. Wait … the third film was direct-to-video, right?
Regardless, the toy looks great, and he comes with all the new gadgets and weaponry we saw in his finally feature-length film. That includes the jetpack and rocket arm attachment. Other features include four interchangeable mouthpieces, the Auto9 pistol, data spike, base, and interchangeable hands. The special edition figure comes with a battle-damaged chest plate.
