The anime streaming service HiDive has announced that they have acquired the rights, via Sentai Filmworks, to stream the fantasy isekai ‘Farming Life In Another World.’ The show will be released by the Japanese animation studio Zero-G with Ryōichi Kuraya working as the series director.
The series is set to be released in 2023 with HiDive saying it will be added to their Winter slate.

The anime is based on a light novel series written by Kinosuke Naito, illustrated by Yasumo, and released by the Tokyo-based publisher Enterbrain. A manga version has also been published by Fujimi Shobo who serializes it in their ‘Monthly Dragon Age’ magazine. Yasuyuki Tsurugi handles the illustrations for the manga.
The Isekai Nonbiri Nouka Fan Wiki describes the synopsis as follows,
“The manga is centered around resurrected human Hiraku Machio, sent by a god to live on world of his choosing as a farmer. He has the uncanny ability to befriend most people he encounters and arguably charm most women he meets (to his dismay) as he wishes to live a peaceful life.
He carves out a farm in the middle of the Forest of Death (ably named), where an array of people and creatures make a home on his farm and later village with him as the chief.
People are drawn to him due to his serenity of living peacefully despite living in a highly dangerous place. Initially people came to him due to the needed sanctuary from the hostility of the world and the food he raises which is uniquely grown by him alone due to his enchanted farming tool. Also, many early who were humanoid were females develop mad crushes on him.”
‘Farming Life in Another World’ was originally published as a web novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō online publisher.
