Throughout all their schemes and plans to obtain money, attempts often end in humiliation and failure. Each of them have their distinct personalities. Ed is the strong, dim-witted goofy one of the group. Edd, nicknamed Double D to tell the difference from Ed’s name, is the intelligent one, who is also a neat freak and inventor. After airing and running for almost 11 years, the show became one of Cartoon Networks’ number one rated show, as well as the longest running network series. The series aired from January 4, 1999 to November 2009.

Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends takes place in a world where a child can create a friend from their imagination, and then the imaginary friend comes to literal life for everyone to be able to see. Series creator Craig McCraken was inspired after adopting two dogs from the shelter. Along with Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Foster’s became one of the highest rated series on Cartoon Network. It was also the first Cartoon Network series to be mainly animated in Adobe Flash.

Amazon describes the series:
What happens when a child outgrows his trusty Imaginary Friend, the pal that stuck with him through all of the highs and lows of growing up? Well, these creations pack up and head for Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends! Foster’s is a one-of-a-kind Victorian mansion filled with hundreds of unique characters from all over the world, thought up by completely different children for completely different reasons. These creatures all live together in this vast, sprawling home with more rooms than you could ever dream possible! Mac, a clever but somewhat shy 8-year-old boy, discovers Foster’s when his mom tells him he’s too old for his Imaginary Friend Blooregard. Not ready to part with his trouble making best buddy, Mac takes Bloo to Foster’s with the hope of giving him a safe place to live, while still being able to visit every day.

Foster’s aired 6 seasons from August 13, 2004 to May 3, 2009. The 11-disc complete series set will be released on October 18th, for $79.99 on Amazon, as well as wherever you can buy DVDs. Click here to see the amazon listing.
