Before we look at the weird Namor statue, let’s take a moment to admire how badass this Marvel Select Blade figure is. This probably isn’t the finalized version of the vampire hunter, but even so, he looks far better than most of the stuff we’re seeing from Marvel Legends right now. Oh, and this figure still comes in display-friendly packaging.

I’m sorry, but every time I see the new Namor as far as merchandise is concerned, he looks like he’s not too thrilled to be part of the MCU. The action figure that’s out at Target now looks like he’s worried he forgot to lock his car, which he parked in a bad part of LA.
The awkwardness was there even in this new diorama from Diamond Select. Is that Freddy Prinze Jr. playing a lifeguard who wants to throw hands with some rowdy kids on the beach? What is this?! Well, it’s a $59.99 chunk of PVC. That’s all I really know.
