Celebrate 40 Years Of He-Man With This MotU 4-Pack!

Starting on September 15th, Mattel Creations will begin taking orders for the Masters of the Universe Origins He-Man 40th Anniversary 4-Pack. This $150 Origins figures collection includes four versions of He-Man from his various animated incarnations. In addition, the latest He-Man from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe also joins the mix with an all-new figure done in the Origins style.

Each figure is 5.5″ tall, and they all sport 16 points of articulation. Every He-Man comes equipped with a chrome version of his signature weapons. The Original He-Man breaks from Origin’s tradition and comes with a Filmation-styled head, simplified details, chest armor, and sheath. That alone makes this box set a must-buy. Unfortunately, Mattel is limiting orders to only two per person.

By the power of Grayskull! This MOTU Origins 4-pack celebrates He-Man over the last 40 years. From his famous bowl cut on the 1980’s figure to the futuristic galactic outfit on the most modern figure, He-Man has always looked great defending Eternia. Each figure is highly posable, comes with exclusive VUM accessories, and has true-to-character details to look like our legendary hero from TV in each decade. This collector’s set comes in premium “TV” packaging complete with programming designs from each era and an Eternia tube slipcover.

This set includes the following:

  • 5.5 inch MOTU Origins collectible figures
  • 16 points of articulation for timeless poses
  • He-Man action figures from the 80’s Filmation Series, ’90’s New Adventures, the early 200x defender, and most recent Netflix He-Man and the Master of the Universe series
  • Premium “TV” packaging with MOTU easter eggs for fanatics

The only thing I’m disappointed in is He-Man 200X’s face. He’s sporting a reused face sculpt from earlier in the Origins line, but with 200X-styled hair. I was hoping for a slimmer visage that looked more like the relaunched figures from twenty years ago. Oh, well. What do you think of the figures? Let us know below.
