Bee On The Lookout For This New Banjo-Kazooie Statue!

Buzz buzz! That bee looks awfully bearish. Well, what do you know? It’s Banjo!

Look at how happy he is! Holy crap! Even with all my cynicism, I can’t help but smile when I look at those huge eyes full of wonder. Oh, Banjo and Kazooie, if only you knew what Rare and Microsoft had in store for you later in life…

Anyway, First4Figures has announced another resin statue celebrating the classic days of the collect-a-thon game’s youth. This collectible measures 8.5″ tall and 7.1″ in diameter. Unlike other items from First4Figures, there are no alternate versions of Bee Banjo. No LEDs or Ultimate Banjo-Kazooie editions. What you see is all the company is offering.

Bee Banjo is currently available for pre-order at a discounted price of $254.99. This $25 discount is only good until March 13th. The statue will ship sometime during the first quarter of 2024.

One of the many transformations Banjo-Kazooie undergoes in the original game is turning into a buzzing bee in the Click Clock Wood level. In this bee form, Banjo can freely fly around the springtime section of the level without having to use red feathers—a very useful power-up!

The Bee Banjo statue comes with the following:

  • Swirling blue and yellow Mumbo magic
  • Skull button replica base
  • Limited edition numbering
  • Authentication Card

If you’re too young to remember Banjo-Kazooie, the Nintendo 64 classic from Rare, check out Masae Anela’s playthrough of the Bee Banjo part of the game below.

Bee Banjo will go great next to First4Figures’ previously released Gruntilda statue.
What do you think of Bee Banjo? Should the statue have tried replicating the N64’s polygonal graphic style instead of a more modern look? Let us know in the comments section below.
