‘Alice In Borderland’ English Dub Cast Revealed

‘Alice in Borderland’ supernatural action horror manga created by Haro Aso that ran from 2010 to 2016. It was published by Tokyo-based Shōnen Sunday Comics with Viz Media handling the North American releases. The Japanese animation studios Silver Link and Connect for a three-part OVA series in 2014. HiDive had begun streaming it and has now announced they had developed an English dub.

Their website revealed the voice cast:

  • Joe Daniels as Daikichi Karube
  • Blake Jackson as Shuntarou Chishiya
  • Olivia Swasey as Yuzuha Usagi
  • Rachael Messer as Saori Shibuki
  • Benjamin McLaughlin as Player C
  • Bryson Baugus as Arisu’s Brother
  • Cat Thomas as “Game Announcer”
  • Courtland Johnson as Radio Voice
  • Daniel Regojo as Player D
  • Gabriel Regojo as Player F
  • Jay Hickman as Player E
  • John Gremillion as Player B
  • John Swasey as Player A
  • Kyle Colby Jones as Old Man
  • Mark Mendelsohn as Arisu’s Father
  • Sam Butler as Player G

The dub is set to be released on August 31, 2022.

MyAnimeList describes the synopsis as follows,

“Ryouhei Arisu is a high school student with no ambitions and just wants to escape from what he feels is a meaningless reality. One night when he is with his two friends Daikichi Karube and Chouta Segawa, they see an abnormally large firework shoot into the sky, an event which signals a permanent change in their lives.

Blinded by the incredibly bright explosion, the three find themselves transported to what is known as the Borderland. The only inhabitants of this world are participants of a deadly game where specific tasks must be accomplished if they wish to survive. As the three begin playing to determine how they can get back home, Ryouhei finds himself feeling alive for the very first time in his life.”

‘Alice in Borderland’ has also been adapted into a live-action television show that had its release on Netflix.
