You Can Now Play A Video Game About Getting Your Anger Out Against the Mask-Less

Looking for ways to get your anger against the world out of your system through a video game? This one might be just the game for you. A gaming company has recently released a satirical beat ’em up 2D game with classic arcade influences and a modern setting based in Brazil. The classic arcade style game officially released on August 10th, 2022.

The game is called Pulling No Punches. It was made by a company called Braindead Broccoli Games and this is their debut game. The game was successfully crowdfunded in May 2021 on the Brazilian crowdfunding website Catarse. They raised £8,194 (which is around $9,816). According to the crowdfunding page, it is their goal to have this game be made available on as many platforms as possible, including mobile. But for now, it is only available to play on Windows, SteamOS and Linux. You can play a free Demo that was released in 2020 or pay $9.99 for the full version just released this year,

The summary of the story for the game is described as:
The game follows the fictional story of a global pandemic that engulfed the world and is being ignored by fanatics who do not believe that the disease is real. It is up to the main characters, 4 common citizens adequately protected with gloves and masks, to deal with these fanatics and solve the situation with the force of their own fists.

Braindead Broccoli is a Brazilian independent gaming studio focused on politics-themed games in a dark comedy style.
