Shipwreck & Zartan Join Super7’s G.I. Joe ReAction Figures

Super7

Super7 has finally made a wave of G.I. Joe ReAction figures that I’m interested in. Why? Because it includes Shipwreck and Zartan! OK, the Cobra B.A.T. figure is also sweet, just like it was in the 1980s, but come on. Shipwreck comes with a grappling hook, flintlock pistol, and his parrot Polly!

OK, the best thing about Wave 4 is the inclusion of Zartan. He was my favorite G.I. Joe figure when I was a kid. He looked fantastic and had a color-changing gimmick. That same feature is included with Super7’s version, too! Like his original figure, Zartan also comes with his pistol and backpack, including a mask.

The least exciting figure in this lineup is Cover Girl. Super7 says that this is the first time she has been shown in toy form, but I’m pretty sure that G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra had a figure of her in the accompanying toyline. So maybe they mean it’s the first time her cartoon version had a toy?

Cobra Commander and Snake Eyes reappear in this wave, but with some variations. The silent ninja is now disguised as a Cobra agent. The leader of Cobra now comes with his serpent staff and a cloak.

Each figure is $20, which is a $2 increase from what we’re used to seeing for these toys.

G.I. Joe fans who particularly enjoyed The M.A.S.S. Device, The Revenge of Cobra, Pyramid of Darkness, and Arise Serpentor Arise animated miniseries are definitely going to appreciate the newest wave of ReAction Figures!

Super7’s latest additions to the G.I. Joe ReAction Figure lineup include fan faves Shipwreck, Zartan, Cover Girl, and the Cobra B.A.T., and new versions of Cobra Commander and Snake Eyes.

Will you be picking up any of these figures? Does your mother still hang out at dockside bars? Let us know below.
