Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti Release Very Soon!

If the chip shortage wasn’t bad enough, here come two all-new GeForce graphics cards from Nvidia! We’ve been having a tough time just getting the previous generation of cards. So, maybe this will help free up that demand.
We learned via Cnet that Nvidia will be issuing two new GeForce cards to the masses on June 3rd and June 10th! RTX 3080 Ti (6/3) and 3070 Ti (6/10).

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, launching June 3rd, is our new gaming flagship, running games 2X faster than the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, and 1.5X faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti at 4K. And the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti supercharges our most popular RTX 30 Series GPU with more CUDA Cores and G6X memory, making it 1.5X faster than the previous-gen GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER.

Look at all those ups and downs! There sure are a lot of them. Yep. I will not pretend that I’ve followed the progression of graphics cards since the Radeon days of the mid-2000s. Show me pretty videos at 4K, and I’ll buy. Yes, I’ve reached that stage as a gamer.
Well, not being content with graphs, Nvidia showed off the RTX 3080 Ti running Doom Eternal at 4K with ray tracing. Check it out:

Here we have a showcase max performance and image quality through Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS):

Both GPUs will be available for purchase as custom boards — including stock-clocked and factory-overclocked models — from top add-in card providers such as ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galax, Gigabyte, INNO3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac. Limited-edition NVIDIA Founders Edition boards will also be available. Look for GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPUs at major retailers and etailers, as well as in gaming systems by major manufacturers and leading system builders worldwide

Now for pricing. The 3080Ti will be $1,199. The 3070Ti comes in at about half of that, $599. The trick will be, of course, finding these when they launch. Nvidia’s previous cards are typically available on NewEgg’s shuffle. So, these may be as well. Keep checking back there to see if the graphics cards pop up.
Will you be dropping all that coinage for a new graphics card? Let us know in the comments.
