Super7 announced more ReAction Figures this week! The very first wave of The Office figures kicks off with Threat Level Midnight characters. Meanwhile, The Simpson’s third wave is about classic Treehouse of Horror characters and gags.
It’s an interesting choice to start The Office series of 3.75″ retro-styled figures with Michael Scott’s questionable use of company funds. But then again, it’s a great way to get hardcore fans of the show to throw $120 down for the whole set. Hopefully, Wave 2 will include all of Michael’s various characters, like Willy Wonka and Prison Mike.
Wave 1 of The Office will have six characters from Threat Level Midnight. Yes, even Toby makes an appearance:
- Creed Bratton As Cherokee Jack
- Darryl Philbin As President Jackson
- Dwight Schrute As Samuel L. Chang
- Toby Flenderson As Hostage #4
- Michael Scott As Michael Scarn
- Jim Halpert As Goldenface
Each figure comes with an accessory, such as a gun, a serving tray, or a hockey stick. Toby’s Hostage #4 comes with nothing because that’s what he deserves.
The Simpsons have returned with another wave of ReAction figures, this time tackling Springfield residents from the series’ better days long ago. Wave 3’s Treehouse of Horror characters include:
As usual, the ReAction figures are $20 each. There are no pre-orders; they’re available now.
Inside-Out Bart comes with a cane and hat. Skeleton Marge doesn’t come with an accessory unless you count Snowball II inside her rib cage. Finally, the Homer Reaper has a scythe and victim scroll. Kang has a Bob Dole mask.
I’m surprised that Dole was included. It makes me wonder what other celebrities or politicians will be included in future waves.
