Judge Dredd Returns As An Exquisite Super Series 6″ Figure

Hiya Toys is moving Judge Dredd from a 1:18 scale up to 1:12 with the announcement of a new 6″ figure. The future lawman from the 2000 AD comics is an upgrade from the smaller toys. This one features a fabric uniform with a functional zipper.

Hopefully, the material used for his suit allows for posing. Regardless, the navy-colored material looks promising.

Dredd can be pre-ordered from Hiya Toys or the Big Bad Toy Store. He’s priced at $89.99 and is slated to ship during the fourth quarter of this year.

An interesting inclusion in Judge Dredd’s arsenal is a can of Boing. The “miracle plastic” was used to help seal away Judge Anderson when she psychically captured Judge Death inside her mind.

You can equip Joe with the classic Mk1 Lawgiver for fans of the older Judge Dredd comics. However, it is not as detailed as the included Mk2 version.

One of the world’s most famous comic book characters, Judge Dredd, has been patrolling the mean streets of Mega-City for forty-five years, and this dynamic and fully poseable figure perfectly captures his iconic look. These hyper-detailed figures feature all-new accessories and materials, including interchangeable heads and hands, and fabric clothing.

  • 4 Head sculpts
  • 5 Pairs of hands
  • 2 Pistols
  • Daystick
  • Boing spray
  • 2 Blast effects
  • Smoke effect
  • Stand

We’ve been covering Hiya Toys Judge Dredd figures for a while. I received the classic Dredd, an impressive 1:18 scale toy, this past Christmas. There’s a lot of detail, but the articulation was lacking. That’s a common issue with toys based on the Judges. Their shoulder armor is cumbersome and not friendly when posing the character.

I had pre-ordered Judge Caligula over a year ago and was recently notified that my purchase was canceled. That’s odd since Hiya Toys says the eccentric, insane, and dangerous Judge is “in stock,” according to the company’s website.
