It’s Spike VS Vicious In These New ‘Cowboy Bebop’ Statues

It feels like years since we covered Cowboy Bebop. The real deal, not the Netflix travesty. In fact, the last time a new Cowboy Bebop collectible showed up on our radar was when the Swordfish II model kit was announced in 2021. So let’s fix that by talking about five new statues based on the beloved anime!

It’s Spike VS Vicious in this 12″ tall, 25″ wide diorama from First4Figures!

In typical First4Figures fashion, Spike and Vicious can be purchased via multiple different editions. If you want the complete duel diorama with a few extras, the Last Stand Definitive Edition will cost you $549.99. However, if you’re going to get only one of the characters or don’t care about all the frills, the Standard Editions are a little less expensive.

Or, if you prefer, Spike and Vicious can be picked up separately in either Standard or Exclusive Editions. The main difference being the swappable interchangeable heads are only available on the Exclusive versions. Check out the price breakdown below on the five available statues:

Pre-orders are happening now, and the expected ship date is sometime during the first quarter of 2024.

If you do decide to pick up the Definitive Edition, here’s what comes in the box:

  • High-Quality Resin Diorama of Spike and Vicious
  • Dynamic Poses as they appeared in the final episode, The Real Folk Blues (Part 2)
  • Elevated Base Design of the Red Dragon Crime Syndicate headquarters
  • Red Dragon Crime Syndicate companion relief sculpture
  • Interchangeable Heads with different facial expressions and additional blood effects
  • Blood Splatter out of the wounds in both Spike and Vicious
  • Limited Edition Numbering
  • Authentication Card

Hey, remember when Netflix totally forgot what people loved about the anime and gave us a “for modern audiences” take on Cowboy Bebop? I bet you forgot all about that cluster, didn’t you? Well, now you can watch this famous scene back-to-back with the terrible Netflix take!
