Hasbro’s HasLab Is Going Back To Marvel With A Giant-Man Campaign

Hot on the heels of HasLab’s last successful crowdfunder, the Star Wars Vintage Series Ghost, Hasbro has launched another customer-funded venture. This time, the company is returning to the Marvel Legends Series. Get ready for Hank Pym as the 24″ tall Giant-Man!

Instead of focusing on a vehicle/character combo like the failed Ghost Rider campaign, HasLab is going large again with a mega-sized Giant-Man. Galactus and the Sentinel may soon have a hero of the same height to contend with on your toy shelf.

From the looks of it, this appears to be a standard Marvel Legends figure just upscaled. Of course, Giant-Man has all of the HasLab updates, like articulated fingers and a toe bend that’s sorely missing from the 6″ figure line.

As of writing this, 3,921 of the required 10,000 backers have already pledged their $199.99 for this figure. Not bad, considering there are still 43 days left for this to get fully funded and meet its stretch goals.

The crowdfunding campaign will run until October 23rd. If it is a success, the large-scale figure should arrive during the Fall of 2024.

From the laboratory that created Pym Particles and the android Ultron, & the crowdfunding program that brought you Sentinel and Galactus, comes a larger-than-life Avenger. Pym Labs partners with HasLab for the biggest Super Hero to hit the Marvel Legends Series: Giant-Man!

In honor of Marvel Comics’ 60th anniversary of the Avengers, we are proud to present one of the original members of the first Avengers team. In 6-inch Hasbro Marvel Legends Series scale, Hank Pym is 24-inch tall Giant-Man.

Hank Pym will come with the following as part of the 10k goal:

  • 24-inch-tall Giant-Man design is inspired by character’s appearance in Marvel comic books
  • Features 91 total points of articulation, including 29 points in each hand
  • Giant-Man figure has intricate design and premium deco
  • Ultra-articulated figure is fully poseable for the ultimate shelf display
  • Comes with 2 alternate face plates to display with different facial expressions

So far, there are only two stretch goals. Rather than including another action figure or diorama, if Giant-Man reaches 12k and 14k backers, you’ll get two alternate faces.

Backers could unlock Marvel Zombies and Skrull faces for Giant-Man. In my opinion, the zombie’s face needs to look more decayed.
