Eri Kasamoto Rounds Out Metal Slug 3’s Action Figure Set

Hot on the heels of the recently announced 1/12 scale Fio figure, Eri Kasamoto has just been announced. We spotted her over at the Big Bad Toy Store with a price tag of $139.99. She’s expected to ship during the second quarter of 2023. Something that caught my eye is that it looks like she’s using the same body as Fio. I am not complaining!

Eri’s shorts, shirt, vest, socks, and kneepads are made of fabric. She’ll stand about 5.9″ tall and has a wide range as far as articulation goes. I hope Tunshi Studio makes a version of the rebel soldier with the screaming face so that I can pose him next to Eri as she blasts off her shotgun.

Now, where is a 1/12 scale version of the original SV-001 Metal Slug?

After a year in development, Tunshi Studio is proud to present the 1/12 scale Eri Kasamoto from Metal Slug 3. This figure has a multi-joint action body specifically designed to recreate the shape from the game. The stylized cartoon head carvings, finely crafted clothes, and abundant accessories make the characters vivid and you can make various poses of action figures in Metal Slug 3.

Eri comes with all these parts and accessories:

  • Vest
  • Underwear
  • Shorts
  • Leather belt
  • Bracelets
  • Kneepads
  • Socks
  • Pair of boots
  • 3 Pairs of alternate hands
  • Ammo bag
  • Pistol
  • Submachine gun
  • Axe
  • Grenade
  • Ammo box
  • Ammo box for shotgun
  • Laser gun effect
  • Blast effect
  • Love letter
  • Treasure box
  • Base
  • Bracket

What do you think of Tunshi Studio’s Metal Slug figures? Are they a bit too pricey for only being 6″ tall? What other characters from the classic SNK “run-n-gun” video game would you like to appear in this line of action figures? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
