‘Doom Patrol’ is returning to HBO Max for a fourth season which will see the group of DC Comics misfits working together to fight crime once again. The new season will begin streaming with two episodes on December 8, 2022, followed by the rest of the six episodes arriving weekly starting on January 5, 2023.
The show stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, and Michelle Gomez.

“DOOM PATROL reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of superheroes: “Robotman” aka Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser), “Negative Man” aka Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer), “Elasti-Woman” aka Rita Farr (April Bowlby), “Crazy Jane” (Diane Guerrero), “Cyborg” aka Victor Stone (Joivan Wade), joined by former super villain “Madame Rouge” aka Laura de Mille (Michelle Gomez). Each member of the Doom Patrol suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Season Four opens with the team unexpectedly traveling to the future to find an unwelcome surprise. The show originally appeared in DC Universe as a spin-off of the show ‘Titans.’ Starting with season two, ‘Doom Patrol’ moved to HBO Max. Former James Bond actor Timothy Dalton played The Chief, the team’s original leader who was killed off at the end of season three.
‘Doom Patrol’ is based on the DC Comics that debuted in a 1963 issue of ‘My Greatest Adventure.’ The team was created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, and Bruno Premiani.
