Doc Nocturnal Returns As A Static-6 Statue From Mezco

Mezco has resurrected the Rumble Society’s Doc Nocturnal and turned him into a statue!

Doc Nocturnal has appeared a few times in Mezco’s One:12 Collective series of 6″ premium action figures. He, like Atticus Doom, is one of the Rumble Society’s most famous members. This, however, is his first time in the somewhat new Static-6 line. The last character we covered from the collection was Elvira.

The good Doc may not have the sex appeal of the Mistress of the Night, but he makes up for it with a badass costume and firearms! This Static-6 figure features multiple interchangeable arms and heads. In addition, he’ll only set you back $225.

Doc Noctural is expected to ship between September and November of this year.

Straight from the serial screens, radio shows, and pulp pages of yesteryear comes Doc Nocturnal! Hidden away in the Nocturnal Tower, the Phantom Knight quietly observes the infernal region for anomalies while perfecting the ancient practice of necro-alchemy.

The 15″ tall statue of Doc Nocturnal comes with the following:

  • Two (2) head portraits
  • Five (5) interchangeable arms in different poses
  • One (1) cape with integrated posing wire (removable)
  • One (1) tommy gun (affixed to right arm)
  • One (1) Ferryman (affixed to right arm)
  • One (1) Ferryman (fits in holster)
  • One (1) severed infernal beast head (affixed to left arm)

Unfortunately, he’s not a standard action figure. Maybe not at that size, but a Marvel Legends-styled Doc Nocturnal would look pretty cool, even if he were still at a premium price point. Hopefully, in the near future, Mezco will re-release some of the older Rumble Society One:12 Collective figures. Or, at least, bring them back out in new variations, as we saw with Atticus Doom recently.
