More layoffs are coming to “New Media” and this time its in video, and Twitter Bluechecks will be SALTY. G/O Media (Kotaku, iO9) announced it was laying off 15 video staffers. Why? They seemingly can’t do YouTube to save their lives. Then we talk about how all of these pop culture media outlets and “geek blogs” seem to be failing hard at transitioning video and why this is.
