Chose Your Destiny: PCS Is Releasing a Mortal Kombat Jade Statue!

PCS is swooping in with a flawless victory! The statue maker has just announced its latest work of art, and it’s one of Outworld’s beauties. The heroic warrior Jade from Midway’s Mortal Kombat series is here in all her green glory.
Jade is sporting an outfit similar to her classic digs from earlier games; Jade is brandishing her bo staff and Shao Kahn’s Bane. She stands 30″ tall upon a base of caustic green liquid and skeletal remains. Unfortunately, the statue is limited to only 400 pieces and retails for $1,150. She is expected to enter our realm in June 2023.

Jade holds the Imperial Jubilee bo staff in her right hand, and her left clutches the razor-rang known as Shao Kahn’s Bane. The Jade Statue is fully sculpted with detailed costume textures and an athletic physique. She wears a green and black bodysuit with matching gloves and thigh-high boots, accented with sculpted mesh, lacing, and rivets. Jade’s masked portrait features black hair drawn into a bun, a pair of black earrings, and an intense expression.

Jade made her first appearance in the controversial arcade game when its second installment was released in 1993. She was first played by martial artist Katalin Rodriguez-Ogren, who provided the moves for Kitana and Mileena. The character has remained somewhat the same throughout the years, but with different outfits.

Recently, Jade has been toned down as far as her feminity goes. Gone are the days of the sexy and revealing outfits for the female fighters, but the men still bare a lot of skin. Her latest incarnation in MK 11 has her covered from head to toe. Ugh. Bring back the original version, please!
What are your thoughts on Jade’s statue? Worth the price tag, or are you holding out for a different female warrior from Outworld? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
