Wolverine Returns to Mezco’s One:12 Collective


Wolverine has finally returned to Mezco’s One:12 Collective. This time, Logan is sporting his early 1990s Uncanny X-MEN uniform and a more attractive price tag!

Wolverine will ship out following this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. As of publishing, the One:12 Collective figure is still available for pre-order. He’s listed at $85 and is limited to two per person.

Uncanny X-MEN’s Wolverine comes with the following:

  • Four (4) head portraits
  • Hand painted authentic detailing
  • Approximately 16cm tall
  • Twelve (12) interchangeable hands
    • One (1) pair of fists (L&R)
    • One (1) pair of clawed fists (L&R)
    • One (1) pair of clawed posing hands (L&R)
    • One (1) pair of holding hands (L&R)
    • Two (2) pairs of posing hands (L&R)
  • X-Men team suit
  • Wrist gauntlets
  • Combat gloves
  • Belt with X-Men insignia
  • Knee-high boots
  • Five (5) slash FX (fits onto claw hands)
    • One (1) small slash FX
    • One (1) small strike slash FX
    • One (1) medium strike slash FX
    • One (1) long slash FX
    • One (1) “X” slash FX
  • One (1) One:12 Collective display base with logo
  • One (1) One:12 Collective adjustable display post

This yellow and blue uniform came about during Jim Lee’s time working on Uncanny X-MEN. Most of Xavier’s mutants wore these similar duds for a while before going back to being more individualistic.

In fact, one of the best early Toy Biz Wolverine action figures was based on this look. While it worked for Logan, it wasn’t all that great for Gambit and Psylocke.

The previously released Deluxe Steel Box Edition Wolverine can still be picked up from the Big Bad Toy Store. That one is $155 but is packed with loads of accessories and eight interchangeable head portraits.
