“They Fly Now” is a line from The Rise of Skywalker that is quickly becoming infamous. The elaborate setup for what appears to be a toss away joke has irked some Star Wars fans who’ve pointed out that stormtroopers with jetpacks have existed in canon since the Clone Wars. Now, it’s become a meme. This is probably not what Disney/Lucasfilm had intended when they released the clip on Good Morning America…
