The CEO of tabletop publisher / tabletop retail chain The Gaming Goat was literally kicked out of Gen Con over a Kickstarter campaign featuring a picture of a frog allegedly using the “okay symbol.” This months after New TSR was pre-emptively banned over some tweets and wrongthink, and two years after a YouTuber was banned for getting punched at the con. Whatever grievances you might have about the comic book industry, it’s got NOTHING of the insanity that is current year tabletop.
