Lucasfilm is using the Marvel Star Wars comics to retcon the movies and make it look like there was a plan for the sequel trilogy. Luke Skywalker is apparently WEAKER now because he couldn’t sense Palpatine was manipulating Ben Solo. Oh, and the Snoke / Palpatine connection was supposedly planned all along. But we know it wasn’t.
