Could Dreamworks’ ‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’ be setting itself up for another ‘Voltron: Legendary Defender’ debacle with LGBT fans? According to a new report from GeekDad, it would seem that Dreamworks has NO intention of following through with actual front-and-center representation despite AGGRESSIVELY chasing an LGBT audience since the show was announced.
In other words, the Catradora ship will probably NEVER happen onscreen. And the word is that showrunner Noelle Stevenson has known this all along, but still baited fans in interviews, panels and on Twitter. OUCH!
So if the oldschool She-Ra fans have been chased off, and the current audience is bound to be disappointed… who is this show for, anyway? And what will the announcement of not one, but TWO, new He-Man shows on Netflix mean for Dreamworks’ She-Ra?
