The new Rainbow Brite comic book has been CANCELLED already! That’s right, the announcement came between issues #2 and #3 with the last issue dropping at the end of February. WOW! Well, we knew the comic wasn’t so hot, but we didn’t expect it to end THAT quickly.
We review the comiXology version of Rainbow Brite Issue #3 and speculate why it was probably cancelled.

“Dynamite Entertainment’s Rainbow Brite ongoing is set to end February 27, 2019 with issue #5.
This ongoing was announced in July, with the first issue debuting October 3. Earlier this year, series writer Jeremy Whitley said that he had plans for the series beyond five issues.
“I have a pretty rough plan for the first three or four arcs, and a pretty solid plan for the first 10 issues or so,” Whitley said in August. “I actually already have the first three written. The third is waiting for approval from Hallmark right now!”
