Yes, we’ve pitched animated TV series before! This proof of concept was for Disney XD through Maker Studios back in 2015.

SUPER TEAM MM3 was pitched as an homage to shows like Power Rangers and 90s pop culture in general. Had a pilot been greenlit, the animation style would have been similar to action series like the original Ben 10, and less like the super cute art style prevalent in other cartoon shows today.
The show concept featured an ensemble cast and we were hoping to balance action, humor, pop culture satire and slice-of-life with a relatively dark (!!) ongoing storyline that actually borrowed a few beats from anime like Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Unfortunately we weren’t able to go any further with this idea for a variety of reasons, but we might revisit the concept again someday as a comic book series.
The proof of concept was teamed with a series of verbal pitches (via video) and a series bible. Had we continued, a more polished pilot episode or test animation would’ve been produced.
