The Undertaker’s Modern Look Is Captured Forever In Statue Form

WWE’s Undertaker has undergone many costume revisions over Mark William Calaway’s legendary run as the professional wrestling icon. From the black and purple early days to the long robes and leather of the Attitude Era’s Ministry of Darkness, The Undertaker was an undeniably well-dressed badass.
In the final years of his career, Calaway’s look was simplified. Undertaker’s outfit was streamlined to an all-black ensemble that included a duster coat, pants, boots, and a sleeveless shirt. Oh, and, of course, his wide-brimmed hat. Calaway’s intense stare and intimidating physique did the rest of the work to make the character pop.
The artists have captured that look over at PCS. This 1/4 scale statue stands 26″ tall and is priced at $650. If you’re looking for a classic Undertaker look, PCS also has a 1/4 scale statue of ‘Taker as he appeared during the 1994 Summer Slam.

The Undertaker: Modern Phenom Statue features a fully sculpted physique and costume inspired by a more contemporary era of WWE history. The Undertaker wears an all-black ensemble including a wide brim hat, a low-neck shirt, pants, boots, and his signature duster coat. His portrait has a piercing gaze and every inch of this incredible wrestling collectible is packed with realistic detailing.

PCS should continue to catalog Undertaker’s various looks throughout the decades. Hell, even include his American Badass look, too. Ministry of Darkness getup and his first appearance outfits would be my top pics if I were going to drop $600+ on a statue. Of course, there should be at least one Paul Bearer statue to pair with the Undertaker.
What do you think of these new Undertaker statues? A fitting tribute to the WWE’s greatest champion? Are there any other long-running wrestlers from Vince’s roster that should get this treatment? Let us know in the comments section below.

Mezco’s Rumble Society Is Abuzz With Murder Hornets!

I don’t know about you, but I’m sort of burnt out on superhero action figures at the moment. There are only so many times you can repackage Superman or Batman before it becomes stale. Luckily, a company is creating brand new characters specifically for an action figure line. They may not be part of well-known franchises, but these things look cool.
Mezco has announced another new creation for the One:12 Collective. Following Atticus Doom, the next addition to the Rumble Society is The Krig, The Murder Hornet! Flying insect-themed toys? Yes, please! Buzz buzz!
The Krig figures are $95 each and come with enough accessories to make each one distinct if you’re an army builder type of collector. These will start shipping out this month!

With its hand drawn animation, creative levels, and strong dose of sword and sorcery humor, crowds gathered around Dragon’s Lair® just to catch a glimpse of this “I can’t believe I’m playing a cartoon!” sensation.
Now, relive that magic at home, no quarters required! The Arcade1Up Dragon’s Lair® home arcade cabinet not only features the title game, but also the sequel Dragon’s Lair® II: Time Warp, and the sci-fi adventure themed Space Ace®. All featuring the beloved animation style of Don Bluth, all a phenomenal fun time.

This cabinet has the following features:

  • Secondary LCD Screen
  • Dual Front Facing Speakers
  • Light Up Marquee
  • Molded Coin Door
  • Custom Riser

There’s a new button on the control deck in the photos, but I can’t figure out what it is for. It may be for selecting the difficulty in Space Ace. There are no online leader boards for this one, unfortunately. The cabinet also misses the red t-molding that made the original really pop in arcades. Oh, well.
I’m hoping we’ll see some aftermarket mods for this cabinet. Specifically, I’d love to see a replica of the CRT display that would sit on top of the machine. At least the Replicade version is getting one.
What do you think of the Arcade1Up Dragon’s Lair setup? Let us know your opinions in the comments section below.

Judge Fire, Judge Anderson, And A Klegg Are PX Previews Exclusives

PX Previews via HIYA Toys and the Big Bad Toy Store are delving into some long-gone days of 2000 AD comics! This new line of Judge Dredd figures will soon have three new arrivals: Judge Anderson, Judge Fire, and a mean ol’ Klegg.
Finally, we’re getting a figure from the ’70s era of the Judge Dredd comics! We may finally get Judge Cal! Or maybe even Judge Fish!
The Klegg is priced at $24.99, while the others in the series are $19.99. These should be arriving in December of this year.

Judge Fire is the final member of the Dark Judges, the alien superfiends from a dimension where all life has been declared a crime. Clothed in eerie, lethal flames and carrying his lethal trident, Fire brings death and destruction everywhere he goes!

With her powerful psychic abilities and irreverent wit, Judge Anderson is one of 2000 AD’s biggest characters – the perfect foil for Judge Dredd since her debut in 1981 but so popular she soon broke out into her own series.

The fearsome Kleggs are alien mercenaries brought to Earth by the murderous tyrant Chief Judge Cal. Driven from the Kara System and available to the highest bidder, they are brutal warriors who fight for the joy of killing and take payment for their services in flesh.

Meaty beaty! Chop’em neatly! Death or glory! No retreatee! If we ever get another DREDD film, I hope it gives us the Judge Caligula storyline and the Kleggs.
The only gripe I have with this assortment is Judge Anderson’s hair. I get that they’re trying to capture the short hairdo she sported in her early days, but she looks too much like Renée Zellweger in Chicago. The ’90s long-hair version would fit this figure better.
Including a Klegg is excellent because most toylines that have used the Judge Dredd / 2000 AD license always overlook these aliens. Typically we get Dredd, Death, and Anderson. Now we’ve got the entire gang on the way!
Let us know what you think about these figures in the comments section below.

Alice Has A Wardrobe Malfunction In This New Statue From Mighty Jaxx

Alice has such a hard time keeping her clothes on when she sips liquids from mysterious bottles tagged “Drink Me.” While I’m used to seeing this sort of ladies when I was a bouncer at a nightclub, the patrons usually didn’t shrink in size.
Mighty Jaxx was taking pre-orders for a new version of The Wanderer statue. The Heartbroken Edition was a recoloring of a previous release, this one more goth than the original. As I alluded to earlier, Alice is having a bit of a wardrobe malfunction thanks to her sudden change in size. Her makeup seems to be a bit runny, too.
Sadly, the statue is already sold out. Both versions of the statue were priced at $299 apiece. Each statue measured 9″ tall and was made from polystone. These weren’t the first “sexy” Alice statues, but they were the first ones I’d consider spending money on. Check them out below:

Mighty Jaxx

Mighty Jaxx

Down the rabbit hole of heartbreak she goes, wishing of things she could’ve changed. Sitting on the floor crying in her pain, surrounded by darkness and overwhelmed with ache. Alone in the dark, she lets it all out, letting go of the little things till she’s far away. The sun will rise and the moon will follow and she’ll find hope in a brand new day.

The Wanderer is estimated to start shipping out in September of this year. Maybe Mighty Jaxx will give everyone a second shot at pre-ordering her? Would you want to own a $299 statue of a partially clothed Alice?
In the comments section below, let us know what you think about these “sexified” literary characters. Or not. The government will probably put you on a list if you do. Oh, wait … that means I’m on it now, too. Uh oh.
