Marvel Comics is returning to one of its most popular story arcs with the announcement that the entire “Civil War” library is coming to their app for digital fans and readers.
“Now on sale in the Marvel Comics app for digital comic readers,” they said on their website. “Read the first ever Super Hero CIVIL WAR collected in full across several volumes! After the death of civilians caught in a superhuman crossfire, the government passes into law the Superhuman Registration Act, kicking off a war of principles—and fists—between two factions of heroes led by Iron Man and Captain America! With every hero rallying behind the Registration Act or working to dismantle it, brothers-in-arms become sworn enemies in this amazing (and now iconic) Avengers crossover event.”
The “Civil War” was the basis for the Marvel Cinematic Universe entry ‘Captain America: Civil War’ starring Chris Evans as Captain America and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.
