Hiya Toys Takes On ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ King Ghidorah

Hiya Toys returns to the American Godzilla universe with a brand-new action figure. From Godzilla: King of the Monsters comes the deadly King Ghidorah!

The King has a 22″ wingspan and stands about 20″ tall. Each of his three heads is attached to multi-segmented necks, allowing for a decent range of motion. Every head has a hinged jaw, and his lower limbs have multiple points of articulation. However, even the King needs a little help to stand upright. Hiya Toys includes two stands to help stabilize his wings.

King Ghidorah is currently listed as a pre-order figure priced at $90. The expected arrival of the golden three-headed dragon should be sometime in October of this year.

Hiya Toys also offers an excellent line of 2000 AD figures, including Judge Dredd. The company also specializes in another lawman: RoboCop!

Features accurate details to faithfully capture its on-screen appearance, even the different details of 3 head sculpts.Stands at 350mm tall, has 560mm wingspan. 3 Necks with 27 articulations and Wing with ten articulations allow to re-create different poses.

I recently got one of Hiya Toys’ Judge Dredd action figures. Although the toys are small, roughly 3.75″ or 1:8 scale, they pack a lot of detail and articulation. Dredd’s build is also pretty sturdy. I wasn’t afraid of any of his limbs breaking or coming loose when I was posing him.

The paint is also adequate for a small-scale toy. What you see in the pictures above is what you can expect from the final product. Their washes help define the small details, but everything could benefit from a light spray of dull coat to tone down the plastic’s shine.
