DuckTales is rumored to be CANCELLED after Season 3, according to Collider associate editor Drew Taylor on Twitter. It’s being said that Season 3 will be the end of the line for Uncle Scrooge McDuck and family, and that there will be no Season 4 of DuckTales.
Disney is severely cash strapped right now, and despite animation being a key focus for other streaming services during the pandemic, it doesn’t appear to be a major focus for Disney+. DuckTales is an incredibly expensive show to produce, and it might have been a casualty of The Mouse House’s dwindling fortunes.
