Disney — in an effort to save its own neck — has announced that it’s reorganizing the company to focus more on streaming. They’re seemingly abandoning movie theaters, and exhibitors are NOT happy about it. Pixar’s Soul is coming to Disney Plus and skipping theaters altogether. Meanwhile, Disney and other studios choose to SQUAT on other new releases while Hollywood and movie critics blame the federal government for the state of movie theaters.
