Another day, another PR black eye for Disney-owned Marvel Comics. This time over Marvel’s hypocritical hiring practices when it comes to diversity. It seems like Disney has been dealing with putting out nonstop PR forest fires in regards to Marvel Comics for the past 2 or 3 years now. If it’s not the media pointing out problems with Marvel’s sales and PR, it’s the nonstop Twitter drama caused by Marvel freelancers. Could the pandemic be the excuse Disney needs to finally stop publishing comic books themselves and just outsource it all to a third party? Save themselves a LOT of cash and let someone else deal with the headaches? Not even Snowflake and Safespace are safe…
